Discussed his life with a lot of detail to his family (such as when he explained to his grandson about the idea that he thinks he should sleep with many women and not just one woman). Olive seems as if she is happy with her current role. She was excited about the pageant that she entered (she ran around the house screaming) and worked every day on her routine for the competition. She also takes her role as daughter, sister and granddaughter seriously as well. The grandfather did not seem to be happy with his current social roles. He spoke on multiple occasions about how great the retirement community that he lived in was and how he wishes he could live there, instead of with his son.
